Godlovesugly

Hockey makes me tired. My body, mind, and soul all want to sleep yet something is keeping me awake. I am just having the music of Atmosphere provide me with tunes that keep me somewhat focused on this writing. My birthday was quite grand. I received a free #5 from Jimmy Johns, then kind of just chilled at my house until my family came home. We ended up going to the Joliet rootbeer stand. It was pretty shitty out, so we ended up eating in the car, but whatever. Its always good to be with family.

Afterwards I headed over to Sara's house. Some of my pals met me there. We watched Conan's debut (what a birthday present!) then just hungout around a fire. I love my friends. They are good people, I am glad they drove to Rockdale to be with me on my day.

A good friend of mine today was texting (yes, I can text now) me about how he was getting a bit fed up with how people were treating him. I felt like such a dick. I didn't even know what to say. I mean, I don't normally insult the guy, but if others do, I might laugh or even contribute. I mean, as far as I know it was always in good fun, but clearly he does not feel that way. I try to treat everyone one with respect, but I know I must let up when joking around.

So I need to tell some kids to let up a bit, and I need to take my own advice.

This weekend seems like it will be a busy one. I might be going to a concert tomorrow night, and there are two parties I was invited to... don't know if I will go to either. Saturday I am attending an NHRA event with my dad! My brother scored us sweet VIP tickets in one of the private catered rooms. Sunday the eagle is having a cookout. Sarah also mentioned something about getting something to eat this weekend. Hopefully that will happen. A few days ago I told the Herald that I was available all weekend for assignments. So hopefully I can fit all of this shit in.

These blog posts always make me seem like such a busy guy. In reality this is not the case. I mean, sometimes I have stuff going on during the weekends, but I spend weekdays doing a whole lot of nothing. I will work on this.

Thanks for listening.
