I wish that I was born a thousand years ago

I am pretty excited to start a new photo project. It is not official yet, and thus I don't want to get into details and talk about it until I actually get started with it. But it has the potential to be something great. No exact date, but some time after the holidays.

I have been pretty lazy lately. I have been working on cleaning my room, it is still such a mess, but I am finally making some serious progress. Any day now I am going to finish it. Upon completion there should be a huge party, including a parade in my honor.

One of the benefits to cleaning a disaster site would be the rewards that come with it. I found the plug to my record player, so I have been listening to alot of vinyl. I also found my black Pixies hoodie (Thanks, Sarah). My dad had this large collection of LPs, so I am going to move them up here and listen to ALL of them. I was listening to one of his Lou Reed albums, and it has a 14 minute version of "Heroin" on it. So good.

I am not much of a drug user, but that song almost sells it to me.

I don't know just where I'm going
But I'm gonna try for the kingdom, if I can
'cause it makes me feel like I'm a man
When I put a spike into my vein
And I'll tell ya, things aren't quite the same
When I'm rushing on my run
And I feel just like Jesus' son
And I guess that I just don't know
And I guess that I just don't know

almost.

(not really).

Love,
James
